Berg Cottage has a fascinating place in Clarens’ history that dates back to 1929 when it was one of the first buildings in the newly developing village.
This rustic dwelling is basic but has a homely feel. It will definitely bring back memories of visiting granny’s home. It is a great example of the early architectural style of Clarens. From the wood fired oven in the kitchen to the sandstone walls. The Berg cottage is a place like no other. The house sleeps 6 and is perfect for couples with children who prefer to self-cater. Everything is provided and the large grounds back onto the huge sandstone cliffs.
There are also numerous hiking trails through the village conservancy on your doorstep that your dogs will love. A short stroll away is the vibrant village square offering restaurants and retail that will satisfy everyone.
